Each of these interiors remained the same during years. Each thing has its own place there. Time has adjusted the optimal position of every piece of furniture and every object. Here, it is not a question of testifying of the evolution of changing spaces, but of catching places frozen in time. I began this series when I became aware that in a relatively close future these houses would be sold or would stop being inhabited. Photography is here a way to remember familiar places but also to remember people who lived there. The inhabitants of these houses are almost never present on these photos but the proofs of their presence are. Each of these homes is inhabited for a long time and is still inhabited during the shooting between 2008 and 2013.
